Lisa Gonzales IBCLC

Lisa is a registered nurse (RN), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and TummyTime! Method coach. Prior to becoming a lactation consultant, she was a high risk labor & delivery and postpartum nurse for 9 years. After the birth of her first baby, she experienced breastfeeding difficulties, shifted her career focus to families with feeding issues, and became an IBCLC.

Through many classes and conferences, she has developed a specialty in oral restrictions, or tongue ties. Since 2020 she has presented at a local university on how tongue tie impacts infant feeding and will continue educating the community about the life-long effects of ties.

Lisa lives in Wilsonville, Oregon with her husband, 3 rambunctious kids, and an ancient dog. She enjoys sewing, crafting, and (nerd alert) learning about infant feeding.

“I support and advocate for all babies and parents with feeding and latching concerns, whether breast, chest, or bottle feeding. I aim to guide each family towards their unique feeding goals via a holistic approach, looking at the whole family, not just the latch.”
